Where are your items made?
All of the items we offer are are completely Made In The United States of America, handcrafted in our studio in Minneapolis, MN.
Do you outsource any of the labor on the items that you offer?
No, all of the designs offered are 100% handmade by Yvonne, using recycled and repurposed materials whenever possible.
I am considering one of your designs but would love the item in a slightly different size, longer/shorter handle, with additional pocket or zipper.
Because everything we make is handcrafted, and not produced in quantity, it is easy for us to modify most of our designs to specifically fit your needs. In some situations, there may be a modest charge for the additional labor and materials required. Please make use of the inquaries link, and describe in as much detail as possible the alterations that you wish.
I am interested in having a custom item made with my own fabric. How does the process work?
If you see one of our designs that fulfills your needs, but would like it made from a special fabric, just let us know. We would love to talk to you about crafting a unique piece, using one of our existing designs and your favorite vintage fabric find or a cherished family heirloom textile. Contact us for details and pricing.
How is a return handled if the item is not quite what I'm looking for?
As we hope you will always be happy with your purchase, if you find that you are not satisfied, items may be returned, or exchanged within 10 days of delivery. Please contact us to indicate your desire. Return the item unused, with tags still attached in its original packaging. You will receive your exchange item or a full refund less the original shipping fee. Return shipping will be your responsibility.
Much of our work would not be possible without the amazing wool blankets and other products made by these US-based woolen mills. Some of these companies have been weaving family heirlooms since as early as 1860. Throughout their history, they have weathered great economic duress and the ongoing economic pressure to move their manufacturing overseas.
They continue to manufacture in the United States as family owned businesses, often in their original historic factories.
